Black Start: A black start is the process of restoring an electric power station or a part of an electric grid to operation without relying on the external electric power transmission network to recover from a total or partial shutdown.
Normally, the electric power used within the plant is provided from the station's own generators. If all of the plant's main generators are shut down, station service power is provided by drawing power from the grid through the plant's transmission line. However, during a wide-area outage, off-site power from the grid is not available. In the absence of grid power, a so-called black start needs to be performed to bootstrap the power grid into operation.
Story “Everyone has been saying for years, the power grid is old and outdated enough to be taken out by squirrel. We don’t believe it was a squirrel to make the east coast go dark but something did. That was 6 months ago. Radios work when you have power, water is hit or miss. Heard stories of power stations trying to come back online or supply power to local towns and boom. Most of the resources are going into the Nuclear Power Plants like ours. Government cut the power back to just 1 mile of Plants to ‘protect ’ the grid. That’s Crap and all the people that have come because of the Light know it’s crap too. So people look at Light as hope, all I see when I look out the window is sick and dirty people hoping for their homes to have the lights come back on. The way it’s going we are still months away if the government will let us. If it wasn’t bad enough the National Guard is coming thanks to those annoying, See the Light people. Its goal is to stabilize the Power Station and surrounding areas. Keep the People and workers safe from those that wish to do harm. With Power and communications down for so long there are those that want to do harm. Following the mission, CoC, and ROE will be of the highest priority.

Important to know before signing up for this unit. There is no true Commander of this unit. You the Player can choose to complete missions on hand or allowed to destabilize the area how you see fit or band together - you are a Black Ops Soldier, Squad, or Team - you are always surrounded soldier. Allowed to play Friday Night

SpecOps Trooper – 75 cap Nationality North American Provisional Government Resources and Financing H Extra Ammo and Normal Medical Rules Ticket - $150 Allowed Camos FULL - Multicam ONLY Head Gear must be MC This unit is 100% independent has it's own goals which it determines for the Successful control of the Power Grid and Plant. Important to know before signing up for this unit. There is no true Commander of this unit. You the Player can choose to complete missions on hand or allowed to destabilize the area how you see fit or band together - you are a Spec Ops Soldier, Squad, or Team - you are always surrounded soldier. Allowed to play Friday Night

Regional Refugee – 75 Cap $75 Nationality Southern US Resources and Financing: Low or none Low Ammo and No Medical Rules Allowed Camos None - Jeans or Solid Colored pants can wear anything on Top except Red or Green Can have battle belts, Backpacks - light loadouts -ie. no Plate Carriers Allowed to look Homeless, or like a worker at a power plant Riflemen 300 rounds Pistol (100 rounds) or Shotgun (5 shells) or Sniper Rifle (mag under 100 rounds) allowed for defense of self, family and friends. This group is for LARPers first but will get trigger time also, do not expect to be playing airsoft in this group. You get to play at a decommissioned Nuclear Site, trying to stay alive after the power has been off for months in the middle of an active Warzone. LARPing Milsim is first for this group.

Types of Vehicles
Can NOT be Shot with BBs. Can Be taken out with Rockets over 30 feet away, Satchels, or landmines. Will not have gunners Troops can dismount and load with a 10 foot buffer before getting hit or killed for safety of the Vehicle and players
Attack (Technical or Armor) Allowed to have One Full Auto Gunner Gunner has to be exposed and can be Shot with BBs. If gunner is killed must follow Wounded Rules but the Vehicle isn't taken out.
Rest of crew are allowed to dismount and protect Vehicle or Stop and switch Gunner to Gun position. No just shooting out of windows.
Vehicle Takeout Can be taken out by Driving over Landmine with tire, Rocket Strike (30 foot med on strike), 203 rocket strike, or hit with Satchel (must be at least 10 feet away) (under hand throw)
BBs do not Kill Vehicles only Gunners if they have them
Each Vehicle is recommend but not required to have spotter looking for hits and players if possible
Satchels and Rockets MUST Hit Vehicle, NO splash damage.
Land Mines are not to be hidden and tire must run over them to count as disable.
Satchels must be recharged at FOB after every use Rockets must be recharged at Spawn after every use
Landmines once smashed are done.
